Our Secret Place story
It started in 2017 with a job interview that never quite happened. I sat down across from my now-husband, who was supposed to be interviewing me for a position at his coffee shop. He poured us a French press instead, and two hours later, we still hadn't talked about the job — just coffee, and everything else. That conversation became a marriage, a family, and eventually, The Secret Place.We built this mobile espresso bar the same way that conversation started — unhurried, and over a really good cup of coffee. Every drink starts with organic beans, pasture-raised whole milk, and clean ingredients, no shortcuts, no substitutes. And every cup is made to give your guests that same feeling: a small pause in the middle of the day, worth stepping away for.
Today, we bring that same cup — the one that started it all — to weddings, corporate events, and gatherings across Los Angeles and Southern California.
